ibraces

Just wondering if anyone out there is wearing ibraces. I am very interested in getting my teeth straightened, without anyone noticing. Can you speak normally with them? How uncomfortable/comfortable are they? I know that normal metal braces are uncomfortable and cause some pain, as my friend's daughter is now in metal braces and she complains a lot. I guess no pain, no gain.

Is there any other factors to consider when going with ibraces? I went for an invisalign consult and I honestly don't think I can keep them in for over 20hours a day. I have also read many post and it seems the majority believe that you will, indeed, speak with a noticeable lisp and they are not as invisible as is claimed, especially if you have a lot of buttons. ..............thanks

i braces

Is there anyone out there using these now? Has anyone completed use (you probably are in a trial if so, since they are so new). Please tell us about your experience. I am considering them. I am an adult female in her 50's who has crooked teeth. Plus, I would like to see my husband consider them. Any males using the behind-the-teeth braces?

Lingual Braces

I am getting them on 3 weeks on the upper and will have clear brackets in front on the lower. I understand it will hurt for about 2 weeks while my tongue gets used to them. My Ortho also said that I will most likely have a lisp for a while. He recommends reading books aloud and singing in the car to improve your speech with the braces on.
I figure my cheeks and lips would be sore with regular brackets so this way my tongue will be sore instead. Ortho told me to hold out for 2 weeks and he promised I would like them!
