Default Inspire ice brackets

I've had three consults and one ortho uses the inspire ice brackets.

They look great and when I rubbed them with my finger, they felt really smooth also.

Can anyone give me reasons for and against these brackets.

Thanks Adu

my sister has ice braces on right now.. she loves them and they are much better looking than the ceramic... don't get yellow like ceramic either..

She couldn't do inivsalign, bceasue she has a bite issue and with elastics and ice braces after 6 months shes is vastly improving..

The price was more than the metal, but its worth it...

Good luck and post a pic of those babies when you get them on.

The inspire ice brackets do look nice ... kinda like pieces of ice on your teeth.

Ceramic brackets do not change colour. The older plastic ones sometimes did, but ceramic brackets will not change colour. The variety of shades come from the varying degrees of transparency for the different brands of brackets.

Good luck with your decision Adu! My advice, choose the ortho that you communicated easiest with!

Thanks Stephanie and Sunny.

I've made an appointment to see the ortho who recommended inspire ice brackets again. Also the ortho who uses nu-edge and invu brackets. So I've removed one ortho from my list. It feels good to be a step closer to this important decision. I'm hoping that by Friday I'll have made an appointment for the next stage, which I guess is the full treatment plan and stuff like that.

Stephanie the ortho's I've consulted with agreed that ceramic brackets do not stain. A couple mentioned that the O rings do stain and this may give the affect that the bracket has changed colour, or even your teeth, but it's an illusion. I've seen ceramic brackets on teeth, that are a couple of years old, and they look brilliant. Think they were the older 3M Clarity type. I will definitely check this out again though, as best to be certain.

Thanks Adu
