Changing aligners sooner than two weeks..

I was just wondering if anyone changed their aligners sooner than the two weeks. My doctor told me that sometimes he has patients that change them out every 10 days, depending on the progress. My top aligners feel like they are very loose early one compared to my lower ones and I wonder if that means I am ready for the next set. Of course I will call the doctor tommorrow to get his advice but I was wondering if anyone else ever changed them earlier. Thanks

I have heard that some ortho's go faster when requested by the patient, however 2 weeks is the standard. If your teeth are moving faster than normal, than your ortho may switch you to every 10 days. It really depends on the patient though.

    Good Luck! :)

I changed my first set out after one week due to being anxious...
but that just makes my last set have to be worn for 3 weeks.
I see changes in my teeth the second week im wearing the trays so i'm trying to hang in there and be patient. Guess doctors all differ. I only have 13 sets of trays... so not too bad. 6 months total.
