Invisalign vs Clear Retainers?

Hi guys,
I had braces for 4 years, after I had them, I had an awful weird gummy retainer which wasn't the one u wear and do normal stuff, but a stupid thing you chewed for 4 hours a day, and of course I didn't wear it... then they finally gave me normal retainers... but by then it was too late and Iwas bad at wearing them.. anyway my teeth are okay now.. but they are slightly protruding at the front.. and it gets on my nerves!

My ortho has given me a clear retainer which is kinda like invisalign, it's very tight... will this work to correct my teeth?? What is the difference between these are invisalign?

Also how many days do you usually find it takes to notice a difference when wearing ur retainer??

Hi Ammy, I think you need to ask your orthodontist these questions.

The three orthodontist's I consulted with said they use invisalign type retainers. Plus that these have to worn nightly for life.
