cheek caught

Hi, Have any of you ever put your aligner in and caught your cheek between the aligner and your teeth? I have done this abot 3 time in 2 weeks. Not a good feeling. I guess I'm going too fast? Jean

I did it earlier. I didn't have a good handle on the piece I was trying to take out and then it slid back up, catching my cheek in the process. It didn't stay that way for more than a moment but it did hurt for that moment.

lots of times - usually when I'm quickly popping them back in

Yea, it's just a matter of being careful, and pulling the darn thing off as quick as possible when you realize you've done it LOL

I even did it in the ortho's office, the first time I was trying to get them off; that was when I started thinking I'd made a huge mistake (which I don't think anymore)

I do that all of the time I think I'm just so use to them that I don't really think when I do it, I just pop them back in. I've also gotten my hair stuck in them!!! I'm also not use to having long hair

I have done this twice in the same place. It was only because I was rushing and tried to do it one handed. Bit of blood but learnt my lesson.

Ugh, I hate when I get my hair stuck in them, and I have short hair, but it's in my face. Drives me nuts.
