It would depend, but I think you might need to change it because the break will mean your teeth are not held where they should be
Today morning while removing the aligners, top aligner was very hard to get out. I applied a little extra force and it came off. Later I observed that there is a cut, but it's not completely broken. (50% cut)
Is it ok to continue? I will be completing 1 week wearing this aligner tomorrow. So can I continue wearing this for one more week or should I call my doctor and inform. Even though they order for replacement, I think it will take a week to come and by then I would have moved to next aligner.
Please let me know what needs to be done.
It gets harder to remove aligners when having attachments.

Definitely call your orthodontist, as a cut as major as you're describing could mean that the aligner will not be doing it's job correctly and this could mean that your next aligner would be too 'strong' for your the alignment of your teeth. Moving the teeth too quickly is too be avoided due to the risk of root reabsorption and then the possible loss of any teeth affected.
Once your ortho has assessed your current aligner, s/he can make the necessary decision.

I called the doctor and he told that it's common problem having cuts in the aligner. He told to continue till the next aligner and not to worry.
