Bleeding

Is a bit of bleeding or inflammation of gums normal in the first few days? I've noticed it a bit and am concerned.

my sister has invisialign and had some gum bleeding the first few days as the retainer didi not fit exactly perfect over the lower teeth and scraped on the lower gums in the front teeth right where the teeth met the gums..

few days later, the gums kind of got better and the retainers started fitting better as the teeth shifted.

If this continues though, or is something that happens repeatedly with new trays, I'd suggest calling your ortho. Repeated physical stress like this could more than likely lead to gum recession.

it's been about a week now and the bleeding doesn't seem to be an issue.
