    Has anyone had this problem??

    Hi

Ok so thursday night was change over night to tray 4. So I take out tray 3, have dinner, watch a bit of tv and then I go and do the cleaning bit and go to put in tray 4......nothing happened. I pushed, pulled and wiggled the stupid thing and there was no way it was going on. At first I thought it was because it was having a hard time going over the attachment but that was fine, it felt like it was a totally different shape to what my teeth were. Anyway so I gave up and put tray 3 back on for the night and decided that I would call the ortho first thing next morning.

Next morning when I woke up I thought I would try again straight away as my teeth had been in a tray all night so I took 3 out and put 4 in and surprise, surprise it went on quite easily.

Does anyone else have this much problem getting new trays on? Do you think my teeth had moved that much while I had dinner that they did not fit?

I've had times when I'm putting new trays in that I think there is no way possible this thing is going to fit. It just doesn't want to go on right. I've done the same thing as you sometimes, especially if I'm too tired to fight with it. I put the old ones back on and try again the next day.

I can't imagine your teeth would move that much during dinner, and I know I've put new trays in after having the old ones out for a bit, although I do find it easier to put the new ones in directly after having the old ones in (as opposed to, say, after dinner when they've been out for awhile)
