One week to go....

I can't believe it, I only have one week left of my upper brace (still 6 on the lower). It's flown past really! I should be posting some pictures too, so maybe I will when I get home tonight if I can find the time.

I'm not 100% with the results so far, my teeth at the bottom are not flat even so going to get them straightened with refinements, but can't believe I'm already there

it really does fly by.... its great that you have done your research and know what to expect and look for.. now you can coach your doc into the refinements until you are happy with the results.

definitely agree with Mike that you should let you Doc know exactly what you want with respect to the refinement stage.

I just put in numbers 32 of 38 (for both top and bottom). I know I'll need refinements, but to see the end is actually in site. I started this whole process 2 years ago (I know, because I'm making my last payment next month

).

Okay so here are some pictures for you. I'm not happy with the results so far but there's always refinements.

The front ones just aren't even along the bottom of the tooth at the top, and still seem crocked from a front on angle... Agreed?

As for the side view, I'm not happy with how flat the teeth are on the top, I think they could be moved in some more, so going to try go for this look.

I have 3 more trays for the bottom so hope they turn out okay. I don't know if I'm being too fussy but for £3,500 I want teeth that look like they cost £3,500 LOL - At the moment I would only say they're worth half of what I paid.

Anyway, thanks for your comments people, I will make sure I check back in from time to time with more updates and progress.

WOW ... your teeth look outstanding!

Your upper front teeth look so beautiful and straight from the side angle ... wow ... you were so lucky to be able to get that outcome. From the front, it appears you need some shaving done to the bottom of them, and hopefully your ortho will shape them as he shaves them, as teeth that look straight along the front, look worn, which tends to have an aging affect on how they look. To be honest I can't see anything crooked looking from the front, just beautifully natural looking teeth ... wow ... I'm so envious, as my teeth are too worn to ever be able to look like yours do.

Have a good talk to your ortho about any areas that concern you and here's to you finishing with the outcome that is best for you!

I agree with Sunny, your teeth look pretty good to me. From the side view, I don't think the front ones need pulling in any more. As for the front view, personally I'd try to get some quick shaving to even out the bottoms of the top teeth and have done with the whole thing...!

They look fantastic Adam! I hope mine look as good...my teeth arent too unlike yours..with the 2nd incisors sitting behind the first ones and the canine teeth..and my course sounds similar to yours too - 14 Lower and 17 Upper. I'm currently on my 6th tray.

They look great though!!

What an amazing outcome! They look great Adam. The only thing I can see front on is that the tooth beside your front right tooth ( I am not good with toothy names) needs to come forward a bit? It could be the photo though.

No refinements yet

And as for teeth whitening I've not done any really - I've changed toothpaste to Sensodyne Gentle Whitening 3 times a day

But do let your doc know if there is anything you'd like to tweak. I'd be really curious to know what the professional assessment is vs. our mostly untrained eyes based on your pics.

Well the Doc says to wait until the bottom trays are completed before talking about refinements, to see firstly if there's anymore move in the top teeth after wearing the trays for a little longer and also in case I need refinements on the bottom to start all together.

As for levelling my teeth, turns out the left front is worn on the inside so he said he can fill that to make them straight along the bottom, added to some whitenening and any other refinements I need, but for now, it's going on track.

Will update in 6 weeks when I've finished the bottom tray
