    Invisalign -- pulling off crown

Has anyone had problems with their aligners pulling off dental work? I just started with invisalign and have worn them for 6 days. I have had extensive dental work and the one crown in the upper back of my mouth feels loose. My tooth can actually move and is sore from removing the aligner. Has anyone had similar problems and what was done about it?

I have three molars with crowns, two of which were moved during my invisalign treatment. I have not had any problems with putting on/removing the trays with these crowns. Your teeth, no matter crowned or not, will get sensitive and even loose with treatment. Check with your ortho/dentist about your concerns, only he/she will know for certain.
    good luck

Thanks for your reply. I have a dentist appointment next week. It makes me feel better knowing that teeth can become loose though.

The teeth definitely need to become slightly mobile. However, the crown itself should still be fixed to the tooth. If it does, generally it is due to the way the tooth was prepared under the crown, or the way it was cemented to the tooth. Good luck .
