they did mine
I did a search on Google but didn't come up with much...
Does (or should I say, can) Invisalign move the Molars? I originally thought so, but something got me thinking and now I am not too sure![]()
they did mine

If the aligners are designed to do this, then they should move. Sometimes they may take longer too move, but that's usually because of the size of the roots and the tooth.
After 5 years, 11 months and two days of stainless steel brackets ... my teeth now have upper and lower bonded, gold wire, retainers and removable clear retainers!
Mine moved too!
Thanks.
I read somewhere on the internet that they didn't... so I thought how would they be able to make enough room to move overcrowded teeth (apart from IPR or extractions).
I had some hefty overcrowding which Invisalign fixed, along with IPR - check out my before and after pics on my profile if it helps.
One of my molars is slightly out of alignment, which invisalign is fixing.
Molars can be moved with Invisalign. They can be moved bucally to expand, lingually to constrict, rotated, translated to close space, and tipped. This is all going to depend on the movements prescribed by your orthodontist, the order, and the use of attachments. Please note that some of the movements described would be categorized as complex, and may be beyond the scope of some providers.
