Post Invisalign 'Tweaking' Options - Bonding?

Hi All.

I'm 29 and just finished up a 26 month treatment with invisalign. Which included close to 20 trays and 4 sets of refinements. I couldn't be more happy with the results (don't have any before and after pics yet - waiting on orth.. to get them to me) but the invisalign didn't 'completely' fix my issues. The issues originally were gaps between many teeth with my primary concern being with the top two front teeth with smaller gaps behind my upper and lower canines. With my last trays in the gaps were gone but now with my retainer in or out the gaps are there - but just alittle (alittle under a credit cards width). The doctor is giving me the options of bonding or in-the-front braces to fully resolve this. He would not charge me for either but I've never been a fan of bonding from what I've read online and there is no way I'm going to get in-the-front metal braces after the past 26 months of invisalign treatments. My questions..

1). Is bonding a viable option? It seems this is the way my orth wants to go but I'm not sure. I feel it takes away from the natual look of your teeth.
2). My dentist threw out the option of the behind-the-teeth braces. Since I'm ONLY looking to close small gaps between my top 2-4 front teeth and don't want the metal brace solution this seems to be a nice choice. The bad news is that my orthodontist doesn't perform these types of braces so I'd be out of pocket whatever it costs to get done.

Any thoughts / recommendations from people in similar positions would be helpful. Thanks so much!

i had bonding done between my two front bottom teeth, you can't even tell the difference. I also have had a little bonding on the bottom of one tooth as well and again, you can't tell at all. The two front, I had an IPR of 2mm and I would say the space was half that once I was done.
