On my last two packages, there is a "+" sign next to the number (ex. 12+ of 13.) It is also imprinted on my aligners. I'm curious about what this "+" sign means means.

The plus sign is for "overcorrection". There are times when teeth are actually overrotated, or space overclosed so that when treatment is finished, the teeth will go back to the correct position. With teeth that are particularly difficult to move or those that will have a high relapse potential, overcorrection may be used at times.

Thanks for that explanation. It does make sense since I did have a problem tooth (bottom canine was not rotating) which caused my attachments not to fit properly into the trays. According to my dentist, apparently rotating canines are problematic with Invisalign.
About half-way through my treatment she opted to do mid-course correction and thankfully everything has been going along smoothly since then.
