New Patient/How Long?

Greetings, everyone,
So I went to get my impressions done last week and am really excited for my aligners to arrive! I actually decided to get Invisalign this summer in the spur of the moment, although I had been thinking about getting braces or Invisalign for several years. I see a lot of people mentioned that they got to see their Clincheck before receiving their aligners. My doctor hasn't mentioned it though. Should I contact him about it or will I be able to see it in a couple of weeks? And how long should it be before I receive my aligners? Thanks for the help in advance - I look forward to the treatment process!

I thought about Invisalign for a few years and decided in December that I wanted to go forward, found the right ortho, and got started in early January. I am wearing my final aligner now (well, until I get refinements at the end of the month). Time flies.

I never saw my Clincheck; it really is just an estimate of how your teeth will move. I suspect that most orthos will show it to you if you ask, but I found looking at the actual aligners to be a better barometer of how - and when - my teeth would move.

It took two and one-half weeks for my ortho to get my aligners after I had the impressions done, but he tells me to expect one month to receive my refinements. He likes to err on the side of caution, so I think three to four weeks is a pretty good estimate of your initial waiting time.
