anyone know how a bonded retainer is fixed

    Hi

My ortho was doing impressions for refinements and when he took out the mould the retainer snapped.

He glued it back at a strange angle and I can't even floss between the two teeth the wire covered, its just cement (well, not cememt but that attatchment gluey stuff).

    Is this normal?

There shouldn't be resin stuck between the teeth. The bigger question is why you are having refinement impressions if you have a fixed lingual retainer...
