That is exactly what I wanted to do for future invisalign patients. I know I was looking through a lot of videos to keep me motivated. Another suggestion, would be to add HD progress updates on participating patients.

Excellent camera too, video quality looks very professional.

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions. These videos have been a work in progress for over half a year. We had to take impressions, wait for aligners, insert them, wait until the attachments visit, and then wait for IPR required.

I wish we could have had great HD videos of each visit. Logistically, it was very difficult and costly to get the camera crew in so many times as is. To have them film at every visit presented too many challenges. It is something we may consider doing with an HD video recorder on a more amateur scale if there is a patient who is willing .

I would of loved to see those before my first appointment! So far, getting the impressions done was probably my worst part of the experience, but I also had no idea what to expect so seeing this would have possibly made me less anxious. I had metal/mirror type things in my mouth to take photographs as well as the impressions, this was unpleasant as it felt like it was slicing my cheek, but the experience got a lot better from then!

Here's a video of the iOC Invisalign Scanner. Align Technology bought out Cadent Incorporated in early 2011. In some cases, the scanning may take slightly longer than taking an impression, but the accuracy and time-savings in steps/shipping are serious advantages. Enjoy!
