Anyone have experience with leveling out teeth?

I'm working on pulling 3 of my teeth down to be level with the rest of my top teeth. I began this on Friday and my orthodontist wants to check on it next Thursday.

Does anyone have experience with pulling teeth down? Without my invisalign tray in I don't even notice them being much different (maybe like 1/16th of an inch). I've been wearing rubber bands trying to pull them down. I feel like they've already changed...which maybe is my wishful thinking. I doubt that's even possible.

I asked how long I would have to wear the rubber bands. The attachments make me extremely self concious and I have several weddings, events to go to in the next month or so. He didn't really have a good answer for me. Just said he wanted to see me in a week. Do things happen that quickly? I'm assuming this might be easier than shifting teeth?

Once the teeth are level will they want to regress and pull back up?

My teeth are a little uneven, my right side of upper arch goes downards like a roller coaster. So the ortho put a few attachments on the opposite side as a hanger so the other side can lift up...I'm on tray two and I am noticing a quick difference..I compared tray 1 to tray 3 and I can see it raising..So I don't doubt that would be in your favor for progression to be seen so quickly.. That why I think it is important to take a couple of good pictures every week or bi-weekly.
    Starting refinements in 2 weeks.
