Teeth don't have to hurt for their to be progress, in fact for many people there's no pain or rarely pain with loads of progress! If your new aligners are fitting fine, then then your teeth must be progressing.
Good luck!
I started with 19U/19L, then got fitted for refinements, 13U/13L. Whenever I started a new tray on my original set, my teeth typically were sore for the first few days. I am now on tray 2 of my refinements and my teeth do not hurt at all. The ironic part is that it feels like my refinement trays fit a lot better than the originals.
Does the fact that my teeth aren't sore for the first few days mean there's no teeth movement?

After 5 years, 11 months and two days of stainless steel brackets ... my teeth now have upper and lower bonded, gold wire, retainers and removable clear retainers!
I received my refinements today (7 U & L, 7 attachments). I also feel that these new trays fit better, they also feel thinner. I dont have any discomfort though they r fitting quite snug. I have never had pain during my first set, only the tight feeling....and my teeth moved quite a bit, so like Sunny said your teeth do still move even though there may not be pain. Good luck with the finishing touches!!

I just started my 2nd tray today, but the 1st month with tray 1 must have done something. It hurt all the way till the 3rd week. I was dreading tray two..But as soon as I popped it in, I took and advil...slept on it..woke up and nothing..No pain
When I eat, I'll leave em out for a few minutes and as soon as my teeth are clean I pop em back in and the tightness is felt. but still no pain..and I have a a low pain tolerance. :P
