Good luck!
since i only had pretty minor things to fix in my mouth, it only took 10 aligners for my top teeth and 20 for my lower teeth. right now, i've finished 10 so im finished aligning my upper teeth and i just have new aligners for my bottom teeth now. however, when i take my aligners off and bite down i cant bite my back teeth together because my front teeth get in the way. that doesn't seem right to me...
also, my upper teeth are supposedly done, but they aren't smooth like perfect teeth are. they're getting there, but my front teeth and canines still stick out a little more than they should. what should i do?
any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

After 5 years, 11 months and two days of stainless steel brackets ... my teeth now have upper and lower bonded, gold wire, retainers and removable clear retainers!
I have found that a few extra weeks in my final upper aligner and now my retainer, have taken care of that little bit of misalignment I still had at the end of my expected treatment time. I always have worn my trays 22 hours + daily, but I have one particularly stubborn tooth, and it seemed simply to have needed more time to be convinced of its new position!
Also, even though one arch is finished, you still have a ways to go with the other, and I think you can still expect to have shifts and bite changes throughout the entire process. No worries, but do talk to your ortho if it puts your mind at ease.
One additional thought - it's not unusual to need a series of refinements at the end of the first series of trays. Sometimes a lot more work is needed, but often it is just tweaking to get everything in place properly. You won't really know if this is the case for you until you are wearing your final trays.
Hope this helps!
