Dentist gave me template for 1st tray

Unfortunately I did not notice this until I was at the end of tray 2. I called my dental office and the dentist told me that it was okay because your teeth don't move in the 1st tray. Is this true?

I think for some, the ortho plans little movement for the first tray as a way to ease you into treatment. However, I am surprised your template held up for two weeks! If you are already through tray two and things are going well, I suspect there is no reason to be concerned.

Every person's Invisalign plan differs depending on the movements determined by their doctor. If your provider has told you that your treatment does not include movement in stage 1, then you should trust him/her, assuming you chose an experienced doc. The other way to find out would to ask to look at the ClinCheck video and see whether movement has occurred going from stage 1 to 2. Good luck!

He has never given me the option to watch the clincheck video.. I could ask him next visit but I am now on tray 4 so it's kinda pointless now?

Noo it's not pointless! When I watch my clincheck it gives me motivation to keep up my aligner wear - and also it is cool to see how your orthodontist has planned the movement of your teeth

Often the template is given to ease you into aligner wear. I had mine to wear for a day when my attachments went on and I was glad I did because it made them a lot easier to get out. As long as set #2 fit ok I wouldn't worry.
