Attachments removed early?

Hello everyone, I'm on tray 16 of 21 U and tray 16 of 20 L. I will be getting married this December and my treatment will be complete on November 9th..I'm hoping I won't need any refinements. The problem is I will be taking my engagement photos November 7th. I was wondering if anybody has had their attachments removed early? Or is it possible for my ortho to remove the attachments and then replace them after the photo session?

I suspect a few days without your attachments won't make much of a difference in your final result. I, of course, am no expert, but perhaps you can be certain to wear your final set of aligners as much as absolutely possible to make up for the time lost.

Do ask your ortho for their opinion about replacing attachments; that seems like a lot of hassle for a few days work. In addition, if you have to have refinements, you could always use your final trays as retainers through December, and then start the refinements after your wedding. It can take at least a few weeks to receive refinement trays anyway, so that seems like a possibility if you are not completely happy with your results in November.

You could get your photographer to Photoshop out your attachments? I think that would be the easiest option.
