cementing ATTACHMENTS/BUTTONS - 2 months BEFORE Tray Use

I work at a company that manufactures orthodontic products and also teaches courses on orthodontics. Due to my minor crowding, I was chosen to be the first patient in their trial of the invisalign system. 2 months ago, they took the required impressions of my teeth and 3 weeks ago the 6-months-worth of invisalign trays arrived (6 months for the bottom, 4 month for the upper). Now (May 26th) they are finally ready to affix the buttons. However, as the company will be closed during August and I will be in America during the last week of July (and thus unable to attach the 2 buttons/attachments required for the upper trays at that time), they want to affix all the buttons now. Obviously i am a bit skeptical as to whether this is normal. It seems that having the top 2 buttons (i believe they would be placed on the premolars or bicuspids/canines) for 2 months without the use of trays is preposterous. In addition, during 3 weeks of summer (July 20-Aug10) I will be traveling through California, with many hours being spent in a car and with many friends and family around, and am preoccupied that I will not be able to follow proper hygenic and treatment procedures as closely as i would like to. Therefore, I suggested waiting until September to start treatment. They expressed concern that my teeth would move too much by September and therefore the trays would not fit (I will be 25yrs old tomorrow, unsure on rate of dental movement at this age)

TLDR: Doctor wants to place buttons/attachments on my teeth two months before i begin using trays (will have buttons on for 2 months without trays) . I want to wait to start therapy, 5 months after the original impressions have been taken, but there is concern that my teeth would move too much.

I would appreciate any advice or responses, hopefully sooner than later
    Thank you emmensely

Teeth can move daily ... so it's definitely possible and risky to wait that long to wear the aligners after the original impressions were taken.
After 5 years, 11 months and two days of stainless steel brackets ... my teeth now have upper and lower bonded, gold wire, retainers and removable clear retainers!

    - by "teeth can move daily," do you intend that the velocity of tooth movement is around 0.01mm/day or more like 0.0001mm a day? Although both may be possible, only one would likely present a risk as I see it..

    - also, did you mean "possible, but risky" or "possible and risky" as written

If you have attachments on your teeth for 2 months without trays I think they will rip the inside of your mouth. They are quite rough and some are pointed/sharp.
    U31 & L23 finished.
    Refinements U9 & L9 of 13 or 16?!

Thanks for the reply. I have not read much information on the effects of the buttons on the inside of the mouth, so this input is welcomed.

They don't need to be rough. I make sure my patients check their attachments without their aligners in, to make sure they are smooth, as this is how they will feel in their mouths for two hours a day when they're eating ... the two hours I want them to be comfortable and enjoying their meals.
