    Broken tray

I'm on tray 4 of 19. I've always had trouble removing the bottom trays over the attachments. I have 4 attachments on the bottom. I just broke the bottom tray
trying to get it off. I start from the back like people have suggested. It had gotten very bent before it broke. I'm seeing my dentist Wed. Does anyone have any
tips so this doesn't happen again?

I start on the bottom of one side, carefully you separate the tray to be able to pick it. Then you take all the tray with both hands ( I do this because if you only take it off by one side it brokes, so if you pick the tray by putting your fingers on all the tray it's easier, it doesn't hurt, and it doesn't break). I hope I explained well, and sorry for my english :S

You might be doing nothing wrong, i got like 10 aligners into 20 on the bottom ones and they started snapping, it just could be a movement that isnt going as planned, if i was getting it so wrong i am sure they would have started snapping before then, its annoying if that does happen though because you feel like your fighting a losing battle and you start to wonder why your even bothering to wear them on that arch because once you miss a movement they never fit right and your always gonna end up needing refinements.

I have quite a few seriously huge attachments on my bottom tray (six) and when my ortho suggested I work my way round from the back it just felt so much as though that would snap my tray that I didn't do it the way she said. I do start from the back, but I just ease it up the attachments as I go, rather than trying to pull it all the way off. Usually I end up going round about three times, to avoid putting too much pressure on the tray. I don't know if this method helps but I'm on 6/18 and I haven't had a broken tray yet (fingers crossed!)
round one 18/18 done! round two 3/6

Thank you! I'm on tray 6 now and things are going better. I'm basically doing what you said sayuri92. I use a paper towel to get some leverage and then use both hands. Tray 5
cracked in the same spot tray 4 broke but so far tray 6 is intact. I'm being very careful taking them off.
