Getting attachments

Hello everyone,

Today I go in to get 9 attachments. Three on top and 6 on the bottom. So far everything has been going really well so I am crossing my fingers attachments go the same way. A lot of you have given me great advice to make the process easier so that should help me. Anyone else getting attachments soon or have you just got them?

Seems like I have been wearing Invisalign for a while already but I have to remind myself it's only tray 3 i'm going into. I'm excited anyway to see more movement with each new tray.

How is everyone else doing?

Good luck with the attachments! It'll feel weird again at first but you'll get used to it

I've just started on aligner number 6 and all trundling along ok. I've got an appointment with my ortho in a couple of weeks to check everything's going to plan (should've been last night but ortho had to move appointment). Think I'll be getting some IPR then as well.

The best news is that yesterday I was given my next two sets of aligners, and in number 7 I can really see a difference in my front teeth compared to what I've seen in the mirror for the last 28 years!! Pretty cool... Still 10 more to go on the uppers and 8 more on the lowers after that, but I figure that'll all just feel like a bonus!

The attachments went so much better that I thought they would. I can barely see them. They were pretty tight when I first put them on, but felt a lot like how my first tray felt. I have been able to get them off pretty quickly and only a little discomfort when putting them back on, but even then only a few seconds. I consider myself lucky with some of the stories I have heard on the boards.

I received 4 trays so I was able to look at tray 7 and see some changes. Very exciting! I will need IPR but not until tray 15th. Only 17 more to go!

How long did it take to put the attachements on? I'm getting 13 today during lunch break, and I'm afraid I won't have any time left for snaking anything before going back to work (ugh!)

My attachments only took a few minutes to go in. Maybe ten minutes? And I have eleven of them.

i have 10 attachments- 7 on the top right, 2 on the top left, and 3 on the bottom left
i went to get my trays last night, and they put on the buttons then....and did some ipr, the whole appointment took less than 45 mins.....and i had no issues with it at all.....it was better than getting a filling...
however, my top tray gets stuck on the attachment on my front tooth a lot...and my bottom tray feels super tight over where those attachments are...but, i've had them less than 24 hours...so, we'll see how it goes!

Attachements are on. It took around 15 min and I'd have had plenty of time afterwards to eat something if I'd have been able to remove the trays.
Now I have to wait to get home and cross my fingers I can have dinner
