    Mouthwash

Is it ok to use mouthwash while your trays are in? If not, why?

I don't know the answer to your question, but wouldn't you want to use mouthwash with your trays out? Mouthwash is meant to help protect your teeth from decay and plaque buildup, so I would assume that allowing the mouthwash to have direct contact with your teeth would be the most beneficial. Sorry I couldn't answer your question.

I personally use mouthwash with my trays in. When I use it (not often) I swish it around in my mouth and it gets in trays, etc. Imostly do this with ACT Total Care Dry Mouth when my mouth feels extra dry. It seems to really help. I figure if the directions on this as well as Listerine Total Care say to use and not drink or eat for 30 minutes, it would be just as helpful to use it with trays in might be even better.
