what is revision? Do you mean refinement? Can I see some pictures of your son's teeth?
Hi, thank you for the threads - I've reviewed a lot of them, didn't see this specifically...
My son is almost complete with his Invisalign revision. First sig was 14/16 now 9 top and retainer on the bottom.
However, after this revision is complete he still has a tooth which did not get pulled down (out of gum). the button is there.
I'm curious, after the revision why wasn't this tooth fixed? Should I be concerned that he's not doing something right, or go ahead and accept another revision just for that tooth? He also suggested possibly using braces (metal) for 6 months for the top to be sure this is addressed.
Thoughts or advice? Thanks to anyone in advance -
Stephen

The issue can either be your son not wearing the aligners properly or your doctor not planning the treatment correctly. Remember that Invisalign provides the trays but your doctor is responsible for how the teeth move.
Teeth that are "pulled down"/extruded are a relatively complex movement with aligners. dentists and orthodontists often cite this as one of the types of movements they cannot predictably achieve. Fixed braces will likely solve the problem if your doctor cannot do it with Invisalign.
