Not much movement? How fast should one see movement?

So, I'm on about 3.5 (currently on the 4th aligner, 1 week in) of what should be 12 U/L. I know this was an express treatment (confirmed by invisalign), I don't have a lot of crowding and no other problems to address, but I figured I'd see some more movement by now... at most there might be literally FRACTIONS of a MM movement in some of the most articulated teeth, but then again they would move the most, no?

I'll try to post some of the pictures I shot soon.

I FEEL these things, but should one be able to see movement in what is about only 7.5 weeks of what is to be about 22-24 weeks of treatment?

I'm in your boat. I'm on tray 4 of 10 and see minimal movement. I think most of the movement is in the back teeth where I don't notice it as much. Good luck!

For me, I felt the changes first - I could floss between teeth that were previously extremely hard to floss. I was on about tray 7 (of 28) before I started seeing changes. I know you're on a shorter "path" so hopefully you will start seeing changes soon.

I didn't see any visible changes until my 9th aligner. Hang in there!

I felt movement on 1 tray - easier flossing. Now I am on tray 2 and I can SEE movement in my lower front teeth already

Tonight I will put in tray 6 of 21 - no visible movement at all as yet. Can't wait to see some changes, even little ones. At the moment
it just feels like a grind, but there you go, you have to do the work I guess!

FWIW if you have 12 trays it cannot be express. Express is limited to 10 trays. The truth is, the difference within a treatment that requires 10 trays is probably not that great. Still, as others have indicated, you may need to be more patient to see the changes you are looking for. Remember that sometimes the posterior teeth need to move to create space before the anterior teeth move. These are probably changes you will notice more than those for teeth in the back.

I'm a couple of days into aligner #4 and I haven't really noticed any visible movement either.

I asked my dentist about this and he showed me my Clin-Check. It looks like I won't be able to notice any major change until aligner #10...and then 16. After aligner 16 it looks like the movement will be more noticeable after each aligner, all the way through the end, can't wait!!

So if you're anything like me, you may not notice any movement until around the middle of your treatment. Good luck!
