Are refinements supposed to be loose?

Just picked up my refinements a few days ago. I have 18U and 13L. They feel rather loose when compared to how the initial set felt. Is this normal or should each new set of trays feel as tight as the previous ones just like the initial set?

No. Refinement trays are just another set of trays. They are planned and manufactured the same way as the initial set. They feel loose probably because your ortho has planned little movements for the first set.
