Hello all,
A couple questions.
Many years ago, 2 of my top teeth were removed because they were getting crowded and we couldn't afford braces. I have just started my Invisalign trays and wanted to ask a question for verification.

The bottom teeth are VERY tight, and since I have gaps on the top equal to the size of the teeth removed as a child, I will need to remove 1 front bottom tooth (1 of the 4 bottom center teeth), before proceeding with the lower tray.

If I am bringing the teeth together on the top, it does make sense to remove 1 tooth on the bottom correct? Implants on the top are not something I would consider, so does that treatment appear to be reasonable (without obviously knowing the very specifics of my case).

Also, one of the teeth where I have a 'button', there is a new found pain as if I have a cavity. It's a tooth that has a metal filling and never experienced this pain until the button was attached (basically cannot eat on that side at all). Is that a common occurance with these Invisalign buttons? Easy method to solve pain issue?

Excited to finally straighten my teeth as an adult!
