Can I keep the trays in while drinking the light variety (sugar free or minimal sugar) of energy drinks (e.g., G2 gatorade?). Workout is max 1 hour. I would remove the tray immediately after and rinse mouth and clean the tray.
I'd prefer that to removing them for the hour, as I'd like to keep them in as long as possible - and since I am putting a lot of pressure during weight training, wouldn't want to 'strain' them back.

I have done this in the past drinking either G2, ZYM or NUNN although I try not to do it too often. I did wear mine recently for a half-marathon using GU Gel and using GU Electric Brew. I made the decision to do this knowing the next 2 days I would be changing my trays.

I have really long 6 hour classes. On occasion I will drink Gatorade with a straw pushed a little further back in my mouth, so that i'm drinking it not swishing it in my mouth. Once I'm done I get up and go brush my teeth, that way I'm not leaving class constantly. Not sure if it's giving me cavities but my aligners are fine! lol![]()
