    Invisalign and influenza

I think I have got influenza. The problem is that I usually don't have headache or at least not so much and not so many days. But now when I have alligners, coincidence or not, but I have constant headache in the face region. I thought that it is sinuzit because my nose is running pretty much and it could of course be this. But I also feel pain in the whole mouth and cheeks region and I wonder if it can be in connection with the trays. The usually don't cause me pain even when I change trays intil now I have never had need to take pain killers when I change trays. But now the pain is so strong and irritatiing and even pain killers don't help. I can hardly fall asleep and wake in the middle of the nigth and can not find place from the pain which can almost not at all be influenced by standart pain killers.
I wondered if anybody else has had the same problems during infuelza?

Check to see if you have a temperature - if you do, you'll want to get in to see your doctor so s/he can swab you to determine if you need meds. You may want to see your doctor in any case considering this is a new symptom that is causing you such grief. Just my 2 cents....

I have just seen a doctor and was told that I have strong infection somewhere im my body and it is probably this headache which could be sinuit. So I have just got penicilin. I really wonder if this sinuit has something to do with my invisalign

I get sinusitis and it is exactly as you describe. However, I have never linked it to my Invisalign. I had it just as much before Invisalign as I do now.

ALthough it is tempting to relate the two because they are both in your mouth, in reality they probably aren't related.

I hope you feel better soon
