    Loose trays?????????

At what point do you notice your Invisalign trays getting 'loose'. After about a week, tray 1 (upper) was so loose I could pluck it out with my tongue! I assume tray 1 did it's job and that's why it was not fitting snug anymore, but geesh....I hope they won't all do that. It was so annoying that I couldn't wait to move on to my second set of trays. (I am currently on trays 2 U/L of 24).

I am currently on 13/33 U and L. For me, only one tray early on was loose enough that I could move it up and down with my tongue. The others are tight for the first day or two, then loosen up a bit where I don't feel as much pressure, but they haven't ended up that loose. Perhaps as you move further along with your trays and your teeth move around a bit more, they won't end up being as loose.

None of my initial up to now FIVE trays could be considered anywhere near that loose. BUT, I can say that after about 3-5 days with each they become quite easier to remove and put in and the constant NECK and JAW pain that comes with each new one subsides dramatically

My first tray or two, I had that issue where they ended up being very loose. It seems some providers may make the first tray more of a "training" tray with very little if any movement so you can get used to the trays without having to deal with the tightness, etc. I'm guessing as you progress you will have some looseness towards the end of a tray set, but nothing like the first tray or two. Welcome aboard the Invisalign journey.

Mine are never loose. They just become easier and easier to remove, but never loose (and I wear them for 22h/day)

Thanks for the replies....so far I have been wearing tray 2 for about 6 days (about the same time frame where tray 1 was so loose I could pluck it out with my tongue) and this set is still snug. The pressure of the initial 2-3 days has subsided, but they feel like they fit correctly. Hopefully I will not have anymore loose trays. Thanks for the welcome Bekster45!
