If you dont have the money or cant finance the amount you need to fix your teeth, I would check out the university. My friend had braces put on her teeth, even though her parents have good jobs, by a university in St. Louis. I know the students take patients to work on and they are overseen and watched by the instructors. The prices are usually significantly lower than what you would pay a dentist. Also, alot of people need other dental work before they get braces...teeth cleaning, cavities, ect....those can be done free of charge or at a big discount as well. I know at my college, the dental program sends out students to the campus to give free teeth cleaning and brochures for discounted prices, which is usually half off, if not more, for different procedures. Its just something to think about...my friend has had her braces off for about two years now, and she has a beautiful smile, all done by students.
