Its hurts at first, but that is a good thing, your teeth will be moving. Good luck, you will love them.

My pain has been very mild, and only lasts the first 48 hours after inserting a new tray. If you feel no pressure or pain, they are not working.

Hey Wang
How old were you or are you when you had them on?

i believe that metal or invisalign, there will be some amount of discomfort.
But, yea, as Wang said, it's a no pain no gain event

They do hurt alittle, sometimes more than others. it does get alittle irritating at times and its easy to want to take them out, but you have to keep them in about 22 hours out of the day...so you dont want to just take them out any time they bother you...but its easy to do. Also make sure you keep them really clean, the trays do get some stuff on them, exspecially in the morning, you have all that film and mucus in your mouth and that is also in the tray. I think you will like them though

Default Discomfort, not pain, at age 45

I am 45 years old and have just finished 24 weeks of Invisalign. My teeth are much straighter. I did not experience anything I would call pain -- I would just call it pressure. I never needed to take ibuprofen or anything. My speech was slightly affected for about an hour after I put in new trays, so I always started new trays at night. By morning all discomfort had worn off and my speech was not affected.
