Hi, my name is Laura and I'm 19. My family has never been able to afford braces for me or the timing has never been right. I'm in college now and wish that my teeth look somewhat straight. At 19, I am too embarressed to get regular braces and I know that they will be on there for awhile. When I went on the iBraces website I felt like this door opened for me as a way to straighten my teeth. I am ready to take on the payments because I am so serious about having my teeth finally look straight. Can anyone tell me about their experiance with iBraces and possibly tell me the cost for them (I do realize that everyone's teeth are different and so are the proceedures/pricing). Thank you for your guys help. If all else fails I guess I will resort to regular braces.

I would get a consultation to see if you are eligible for Invisalign (I'm not familiar with IBraces so hopefully someone else helps you with that). Invisalign is great because you can take them out when you need to, and they really are not very detectable. Regarding you being 19, don't be embarrassed about anything you get. It seems like a big deal to you now, but trust me - that is still very young, and the longer you wait, the older you get and the more you'll really wish you took these steps earlier. If you can afford it, get something done if you're currently not satisfied with your teeth.

It absolutely does not matter about the age.... the main problem is that you have to look better... and without braces it wont be fine! I say... go for it! Soon your braces will be off and you will love the results and hah.... you will kiss yourself(jk) |

Its never too late to get your teeth done...it will make you feel better about yourself, nobody should be embarrassed to smile or laugh. I see young mothers and women at my childrens school all the time wearing braces and they look good...and you know that they care about themselves because they are improving something very important, their smile and their health. You are really young still and I dont think it will be a big deal if you wear the metal ones. I wear invisalign and people can still see them, they are somewhat invisible, but not the buttons are visible and the trays that I have do have some lines in them when they were made, so they arent that invisible. Anyway you choose, I would invest in it, you will be glad you did and one less thing to worry about. Good luck
