can you help me convince a friend?

Well i got braces the other day but my friend might be getting braces and jaw surgery but isn't sure if she wants it. I want to show her that its worth it and so she doesn't regret it in 10 years time. when shes out at pubs and stuff.i will show her this to convince her as i don't want her to be self consciousus in years to come


so anyone who has had it can you help me is it really worth it and can you give me tips to help her get through it and see that its worth it?

(im doing the same but for braces in the braces bit of the forum because she also doesnt want traintracks)

Let your friend make this decision. It's not your place to try and convince her ... just imagine if something went wrong during your friends treatment or surgery, after you'd convinced her to do this ... never a good idea.

You can tell your friend the good things about your treatment, but please don't preach this to her, as that's very off putting and for many people it's enough to put them off treatment.

Remember you have no way of knowing if your friend would have regrets in 10 years, or be self conscious in years to come ... this is your interpretation only.

It's great that your treatment is going so well ... but it's only been a short journey for you so far. Good luck with your treatment going well!
