My son has an impacted Canine. They had to expose the tooth and attached a small chain to it which will be used to pull the Canine into place.
They also extracted a baby tooth which is where the Canine will be placed. The following is what concerns me:
They are pulling the Canine across the gum over three teeth and then will be pulled
down into place. Is this even possible? I have heard of impacted teeth being pulled
down but never across the gum over teeth. Has anyone ever heard of this procedure?
