    ibraces cost

There is a whole section of how much does invisalign cost in the invisible braces forum:
    Average Cost Of Invisalign

How about a similar section for ibraces? Here are some questions to consider.

How much was ibraces for you. what was your quote?

What was the diagnosis? why did your orthodontist recommend ibraces for your case? top arch / bottom arch or both? How long is the estimated treatment time?

    What is your geographical location?

How much experience does your orthodontist have (new / expert in the field)?

Is there a lot of orthodontists in your area? (competition / monopoly)

Does your insurance cover your treatment?

    Mid-Michigan ibraces cost

~$8000 top and bottom arch. Top overbite, with two rotated teeth. estimated 2 years treatment. Location - mid-michigan. only one ibraces doctor within 15 miles. new ibraces doctor, ibraces only recently became available in our area.

I asked for braces that will not show and I pushed for invisalign because it sounded very convenient. Opinions from two orthodontists were that invisalign were not perfect to fix rotated teeth. I asked if they can leave the rotated teeth alone and just fix my overbite and they refused. One orthodontist offered ibraces as the alternative.

Price includes all visits, 6 bracket replacements if bracket is broken, and retainers.

delta dental covers $1500 (standard orthodontic coverage).

Mine were $8,000 including visits, wax, trainer, etc.

I specifically looked for iBraces; Invisalign was not possible for me.
    Location NJ
Ortho has some experience, but not a whole lot.
Estimated treatment time 2 yrs but that can vary a lot.
I got the impression my ortho preferred regular braces because they go faster.

I found my ortho on this website (I hope this is allowed)

Somehow, there used to be an interactive map but I cannot find it right now. Anyway, the list with distance provider is pretty helpful too.
