Hi!
Anyone know if there is lingual damon braces?!
I hope we can use all the benefits from the damon system behind the teeth!
No. Damons are not lingual. But there are a number of different brands of lingual brackets on the market today.
Bear in mind that Damons are truly nothing special, no matter what the people behind their marking would have you believe. They are just one of many brands of self-ligating bracket. What matters is the skill of the orthodontist.
Bear in mind too that fewer orthodontists offer lingual braces, and that the cost is typically significantly higher than that for "regular" braces. Be ready too, if you take this route, to experience some period (albeit potentially very short) during which you experience more discomfort, and more difficulties speaking than would someone who has their braces on the front of the teeth.
I am not a dental professional.
As it says on the main Bracesreview.com page, always consult a qualified orthodontist, dentist, or medical professional with questions you may have.
Very nice, Zoso!
Thank you so much!
