You have to work at those sounds, but with time it should get to the stage where only you may think you still have a lisp. Carry on talking as you would normally do and things will improve.
I got my ibraces about a week ago and still have a lisp problem (especially with st and sh sounds?
Any advice? Did the lisp go away for people who have worn ibraces?

I had another brand of linguals, not Ibraces. On my top arch only.
can anyone whose been wearing ibraces on both arches reply please?
Sounds like I've been dismissed....![]()
I have been wearing ibraces on top and bottom for 20 months now and they hopefully, will be coming off in a month. Your lisp will come and go; it gets more pronounced when wires and chains are changed, when you are in pain and when you are tired. This has been quite a journey...any more questions let me know..
