Rough prices

Here are some rough prices for installing braces

All are 2 year terms

Normal Traditional Braces on average are about $5000
Ceramic ones would cost $500 more than the traditional ones

Are Invisible ones cheaper then?

Does anyone have rough prices on:

(1) Removing a permanent lingual retainer at a dentist or orthodontist's office;

(2) Having a removal retainer made;

(3) If you already have a current mold, (a) can a dentist, orthodontist or retainer lab (?) make a removable retainer for you off that mold, and (b) if they can, how much does the retainer, in that case, cost?

Cactus these prices will vary from country to country, city to city, ortho to ortho. You can phone a few orthodontist offices and ask how much you would be expected to pay. Of course they will not be able to give you a definite figure, but they should be able to give you some idea of what to expect.

If you have a current mould, it may be able to be used by a dentist or ortho to make new retainers. It would need to be very current, or you would be wasting your money having the retainers made. Where I work, they would not make retainers from moulds that weren't made onsite. This is something they would consider to be unprofessional and too high risk.
