i have trapped teeth...is this an option??

first off.. i have had horrible dental care my entire life. i recently went back to a new dentist and orthodonist in hope to fix and i find myself questioning everything that they do. i found out that i have 4 trapped teeth and when we started talking about the type of braces he said he only uses Self-ligating brackets.
i just dont know what to do. am i a canidate for ibraces?

Hi and welcome to this forum Kiki!

The best way to approach something as huge as orthodontic treatment is by having multiple consults, so you can compare the treatments offered. Then you can discuss this with the ortho's and finally choose the person you feel the most comfortable with.

Not all ortho's offer lingual braces, so make sure you ask before making consult appointments, so that you can have at least two consults with ortho's who offer these type of brackets.

    Good luck!
After 5 years, 11 months and two days of stainless steel brackets ... my teeth now have upper and lower bonded, gold wire, retainers and removable clear retainers!
