snapped powerchain!

I've just snapped one of my powerchains grr. I was stupidly playin with it with my tongue! My ortho is shut tommorrow so i will have to wait until next week. it's a real bother going all the way there for one tiny little elastic, it would be easier if they sent me a new one in the post and I hook it on myself. or is that just being stupid? I'll have to wait till Tuesday either way...will 5 days without my powerchain make much difference?

Are you sure that it's a powerchain that's snapped? Sounds like it could be a lig. Either way, 5 days is not going to make a difference, so relax and enjoy the weekend.

The power chain just helps things move along faster. So if it was the power chain that you snapped, you won't suffer any setbacks, but you're just losing five days with the extra force on your teeth. I don't think it'll cause any kind of difference in the long run.
