    Filing Down Teeth

So, last week I got the ibraces and everything is still pretty good. My front teeth are straightening out already and I've noticed that they are different lengths. Can the orthodontist file down my teeth with braces on?

From my experience, you might want to wait to consider having filing done until your treatment is complete. Your teeth will continue to shift throughout treatment, and your ortho might also be planning to pull a tooth "down" to make it match in length to the others. You'll know for sure when all is said and done, and then it won't be difficult to "fix" any cosmetic issues you may want to fix.

    Hope this helps!
