    Cost to Change Treatment/Move

    Hello,

I am getting linguals put on this month in California. I'll only be here about two months after that, before moving to Minneapolis. I am wondering how the process of moving and treatment work. It's $8200 for the linguals in California. How much would I have to pay another ortho in MN to complete treatment? Treatment is set at 16 months, so the new guy would take on 14 months of adjustments, etc. I realize this is impossible to measure, but a ballpark figure would help me decide what to do.

    Thanks.

It's best to wait. because the new ortho will have to do alot of up front work to get you ready. Call ahead to an ortho you want to see in MN and ask about pricing. But I think it's going to be uber-expensive.

I agree with Ports ... wait a few months to get to your new destination, check out a few ortho's and then get started and stay with the one ortho. Maybe the ortho you were hoping to start with can recommend a few ortho's for you to consult with.

    Good luck!
