    Broken Bracket...delay treatment?

I had a bracket come off about an hour ago. I'm scheduled to have it put in tomorrow at 10am.

I once read a broken bracket can delay treatment by a month. Am I looking at another month just because I'll be with a broken bracket for a few hours tonight? Or if I fix it asap will I be okay?

    Thanks.

I think this was the belief a long time ago, but these days, most practices don't replace the bracket until the patients next appointment and there's no way a good orthodontist would want your treatment to last one second longer than is necessary.
After 5 years, 11 months and two days of stainless steel brackets ... my teeth now have upper and lower bonded, gold wire, retainers and removable clear retainers!

    Thanks, guys.
Saw my ortho this morning and he replaced it. He basically said whether or not there is a delay in treatment depends on which tooth the bracket fell off of. He didn't think this one was an issue.
