    Day 3 Icognito

    Hi Folks,
    Im new to the forum, I just had the ibraces put in Monday morning, its now Wednesday noontime. Its been pretty stiff, I'm not saying the pain is unbearalbe because its not. Dont get me wrong, my teeth are feeling stiff and a little sore, but the biggest problem I have is the speech. I dont know if i have a lisp but I sound like I have something in my mouth. That is sooo annoying. I hope this goes away. But, folks, will this only go away with practice? Reading some of the comments here on the forum make it seem that way. Anyone have any tips on this? The dental assistant at the dental office where I got these from said to talk a lot, and it takes about 2 weeks for speech problems to go away. I'm just aiming for sounding normal. Anyone have any tips on improving speech?

    Also, I am not understanding what exactly is the wax supposed to do to help? Any thoughts folks ?
