The day has finally arrived :-)
So my extraction sites are healing fine, all four of them, and tomorrow I get top and bottom braces on. The ortho deals with Clarity or Radiance, and is recommending Radiance - which are clear ceramics. Am very nervous but so ready for this. Can't wait and terried all at the same time....
I never smile, and you can see why lol. I can't wait to be smiling with my brace on! :-)
Had my other two teeth out this morning. A premolar on top and a second premolar on the bottom. Was a bit painful this time round, especially the needles, but am recovering! Have eaten some baked beans and a yoghurt (not together lol) and feel a bit better. several cups of lukewarm tea as well!
I've also been worrying myself by googling and reading stories of people whose faces have "caved in" because of having too many teeth removed. I am sure my ortho knows what he is
So it's been five days since I had my first two teeth taken out. I'm almost eating normally again now, the holes are healing ok but still have some aching from that side of my mouth. I feel very wierd and "gappy" today. My tongue is poking around into the vacant nooks and crannies where my teeth used to be and I have to concentrate very hard not to! My head aches and my jaw aches, but nothing major. I had a sleep in and now going to get on with some work, so not too bad. Still not eaten or drunk anything though, except a few sips of water last night and a few tiny drops of yoghurt. Must try something today though...am starving!
