I've accomplished two weeks with my iBraces/traditional braces combo 
I feel 100% adjusted to them now and, for the most part, I felt this way after 1 week as well.
My tongue and cheeks have all toughened up so I no longer need to use wax (I found the OraJel mouthwash to be extremely helpful as well, in case anyone is looking for suggestions!).
My speech is just about normal I think. I still have a slight lisp (more of a hiss sound actually when...

I'm new to this message board and was oh so glad to come upon it through the magic of Google
Just about 11 hours ago I began my 18 month endeavor into the world of braces. I am a 23 year old who, at the tender age of 14, refused to wear braces if I didn't "have" to (initiate self-kicking).
