Hi guys
So first couple days of retainer life have been good, I dont feel self conscious much and my speech adjustment has been really easy, better than braces. It feels less weird to have something on the roof of my mouth, at first it felt a bit suffocating but it goes in and out easily. Only real annoying thing is drinking, you can only have water with retainer in so if you want to sit and enjoy a coffee or drink then I'm worried I have it out too long.

OMG they are OFF!!!!!!!!!!! And I can not believe how awesome it feels to not have braces in my mouth. It wasn't too bad having the brackets clipped off my yuckkk the scrapping was horrible and I almost gagged on my spit and I just wanted her to stop touching my mouth. LOL. I go back for retainers and polishing and shaping in a couple hours but wow my mouth feels SOOOOO EMPTY, I can close my mouth, I can't stop licking my teeth. The countdown continues. Yesterday I had all 8 molar bands removed and my wire cut. I have no idea why he removes in these stages but I think its to get the molars to set on their own and then 2 weeks later your brackets are removed......BUT NOT ME.... they are on vacation so instead of getting them removed Aug 15th I have to wait to the 22nd oh well I am trying to think they will just be more stable when brackets come off.

Oh 43 days left and I am so done. I was on vacation 4 hrs away and realized last night that my elastic was around my wire??? How could that be, did I drink too much vodka, inhale too much campfire smoke, heat stroke???? Did my wire become magical?? NOPE it was broken.
